Description:
The milk for our feta cheese comes from sheep and goats that are kept outdoors. The shepherds roam with their herds - up to 200 animals - and their dogs in the highlands of Ahaia, in the north-west of the Peloponnese. Grazing at altitudes of up to 800 m ensures that the high pastures are preserved. Since the animals find particularly spicy grasses and herbs at these altitudes, our feta cheese is particularly tasty!
